Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated on 1st Oct. to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The celebration began with a special assembly and a prayer service centered on the values of peace, non-violence and justice. Master Elijah Gomes of Class I delivered a speech highlighting the life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, followed by a speech by Tr. Sanlee Dias, who emphasized the importance of practicing Gandhi’s principles in our daily lives. A skit entitled \u201cCleanliness Is Everyone\u2019s Responsibility\u201d was presented by the students, conveying the message that maintaining clean surroundings is a collective responsibility. The assembly also featured interesting General Knowledge questions related to Mahatma Gandhi and his life. The programme concluded with the National Anthem. The celebration was both meaningful and informative, inspiring students to uphold the values of peace, cleanliness, responsibility and non-violence in their everyday lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Wildlife Week Celebration<\/strong>
Wildlife Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm at our school from 5th to 10th October 2026 to create awareness among students about the importance of wildlife conservation and the protection of animals and their natural habitats. The celebration commenced with a special assembly highlighting the role of animals in maintaining ecological balance and the need to conserve wildlife. Students were encouraged to develop compassion for animals and adopt practices that contribute to the protection of nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the assembly, students participated in an engaging activity in which they wore animal masks and spoke about different animals. This made learning enjoyable while enhancing their knowledge and communication skills. A clay-modelling activity was also organised, allowing students to creatively mould different animals using clay. The celebration proved to be an enjoyable and enriching learning experience. It helped students develop love and respect for all living creatures and understand the importance of protecting wildlife for future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n

Monologue Competition<\/strong>
The Monologue Competition was held at our school on 10th October 2026. The competition provided students with a valuable platform to showcase their creativity, confidence, acting skills and public-speaking abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme began with a warm welcome to the judges, Ms. Savia Fernandes and Mrs. Valinca Rodrigues, along with the teachers and participants. Students from Classes III, IV and V portrayed a variety of characters with remarkable expressions, effective voice modulation and confidence, making their performances engaging and memorable. The performances were appreciated by the audience, and all participants were encouraged for their enthusiastic efforts. The winners were as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Place : Miss Alora Immaculate Albuquerque \u2013 Class IV
Second Place: Miss Genelli Snita Gomes \u2013 Class IV
Third Place : Master John Hansel Da Silva \u2013 Class III<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme concluded by congratulating all the participants for their efforts and courage, reinforcing the message that participation, self-expression and confidence are as important as winning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
